Do you have a holiday booked or are you just having a busy week and need help to care for your horse? Then we’re here to help with our trustworthy and reliable service. We’ll ensure your equine friends will receive the best care, are happy and in the best health.

Equine Services

At Pet Sitting Derby we know that every horse will have their own complex needs and routines that they are used to. We will try to keep their routines as close to normal as possible. So we offer a number of different services to suit everyone.

Feeding & Watering

We can feed hay, hard feed and provide clean fresh water. This can be any time of the day, morning, lunch time or evening and one or more times a day depending on what you require.

Bringing or Turning Out

We can turn your horse out or bring your horse in. We will also change your horse's rug if needed and can apply or take off any turn out boots or fly masks. Before turning out and after bringing in your horses feet will be picked out. Your horse will be thoroughly checked over before being turned out and after been brought in, to ensure they a free from injuries.

Yard Duties

Whether your horses have been stabled or turned out at night, we have services to suit. We can muck out the stables, providing a full and thorough muck out, filling of hay nets, provide fresh clean water, make up hard feeds and leave the stable area swept and tidy.

If your horse has been turned out overnight, we will poo pick the paddock and check it to make sure it is safe and secure and hay or grass can be provided if required, depending on grazing method. If your horse hasn’t been brought in or turned out, we will make sure they get a thorough check over making sure they are free from injuries and that their feet are picked out.

Grooming

We can offer a full groom for your horse, keeping them looking smart and clean. Making sure that manes, tails and feathers are kept on top of.

Extras

If your horse has special requirements, we can help with this as well. Should they need any creams or ointments applying or whether they need any medication put in their feeds. If there are any other requirements your horse needs that aren’t listed, please don’t hesitate to contact me with what it is you require.

Over Night Stays

We can offer overnight stays if required. This will give you peace of mind that someone is onsite should any emergencies occur and to offer late night checks to make sure everyone is safe and happy before going to bed.

We have over 16 years of owning and working in the industry at a competition yard and riding school.

Pricing and Booking

We want to make booking our service as easy as possible. If you would like to book our services please fill in our online form with the service and dates that you require. We know people have busy schedules so we can offer one time services or can arrange regular slots to suit your time-table. Once we receive your form we will get in touch as soon as possible and book a meet and greet, when can discuss your specific requirements and meet your horse/pony.

Per hour - £15.00
Overnight stays - £35.00

Here at Pet Sitting Derby we understand that leaving your horses whilst you're away can be unnerving, because of this we will update you daily on how your horse is getting on and we’ll also send you photos. That way you can relax and have a great time knowing your horse is being well cared for.
